2 bags of UNSWEETENED coconut (to fill a 12-oz jar of coconut butter) |
Put it into the food processor |
Let it rip on high for a few minutes, then scrape down the sides |
This is after about 10 minutes |
15-20 minutes and it's done! |
At this point, I jarred some as-is, and then added cocoa powder to the rest |
Ta-da! Coconut butter and chocolate coconut butter! |

ReplyDeleteI bought some UNSWEETENED coconut flake today and will be making this tonight!!! I'm planning on having it in my oatmeal tomorrow morning along with some tropical dried fruit, pecans, and a bit of sweetened coconut flake. *drooling*
