Since I'm getting surgery next week, my doctor wants me to get a LOT of protein. This protein shake tastes JUST like a Snickers bar. It's a yummy treat!
I'm sorry, but this recipe has been migrated over to my everyday blog, Runs for Cookies. This link is a direct link to that recipe. Enjoy! --Katie

DeleteDoes the Torani syrup add that much flavor, or is it okay to leave out? Or do you have any other substitution ideas?
ReplyDeleteThe syrup is probably the most important part of the flavoring! But you could probably substitute the ice cream caramel syrup instead of the Torani liquid...
DeleteCan't wait to try this! Do you think I could prep it a night, and the ice in the morning?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't do that. It only takes a few seconds to throw it together in the morning!
DeleteMy husband has one of your recipe of shakes every morning and I toss all the dry ingredients in the mixer cup at night so all he has to do in the morning is add the almond milk and whatever syrup is needed. It really helps him since he is rushed in the mornings.
DeleteI have been drinking this for a week and just tried it with substituting the PB2 for the peanuts, still amazing but with even less calories! :)
